About the WIP

Alberta Innovates is launching the Water Innovation Program, aiming to address water challenges in Alberta through innovative solutions. With a focus on safe drinking water, healthy aquatic ecosystems, and sustainable water supplies, the program supports projects in four key themes. Eligible applicants, including tech developers, industry, and research organizations, are encouraged to submit funding proposals.

Alberta Innovates emphasizes a commitment to advancing technology within a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) range of 3-7. The program operates on a continuous intake basis, allowing ongoing project submissions.
