Startup TNT's Explosive Growth: Unveiling a $5M Venture Fund

In 2019, Zack Storms founded Startup TNT in Edmonton, aiming to unite local entrepreneurs and investors. The initiative has since evolved into a significant investment platform, hosting 30 summits and facilitating over $12 million in investments for 90+ startups.

Recently, Startup TNT launched its first-ever $5 million venture fund, led by Storms and Tim Lynn. This fund aims to bridge the funding gap for early-stage companies seeking investments in the $100,000 range. It's designed to provide $50,000 alongside angel investments to selected startups from its summits.

The fund also pairs each portfolio company with two venture partners from its network to support their growth towards Series A funding. While modest in size, this venture fund represents a step toward attracting institutional capital for future investments, all rooted in Startup TNT's community-first ethos.
