The Community Safety and Wellness (CSW) Accelerator is a tech startup accelerator focused on supporting business development while driving positive social impact. It leverages entrepreneurship, innovation, community partners, and key stakeholders to deliver valuable, quantifiable impact towards community safety and wellness, while contributing to the innovation ecosystem and economy of Alberta.
The CSW Accelerator is part of the Alberta Scaleup and Growth Accelerator Program, run by a consortium led by Alberta Innovates. This consortium, including Technology and Innovation, Edmonton Unlimited, The Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund, and Prairies Economic Development Canada, has allocated $35 million over three years to retain business accelerators.
