Canada's First Métis Student Centre Opens at NorQuest College!
NorQuest and the Rupertsland Institute proudly unveil the country's inaugural Métis Student Centre, addressing a crucial need for cultural representation. This student-led initiative offers services such as application assistance, emergency funding, and tutoring support. It's the first Métis-specific student centre in Canada, created for a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Services are available to all Métis post-secondary students in the Edmonton region. The hub's grand opening on Nov. 9 marked a historic milestone.
