Alberta Innovates and AGE-WELL have launched the AICE-Tech for Healthy Aging program to advance and validate technologies that support caregivers and help older adults achieve better health and quality of life as they age in place in their preferred environment. This initiative offers $200K-$300K CAD in funding through the AICE-Concepts and AICE-Validate programs. It focuses on advancing novel, tech-enabled solutions that improve health and quality of life for seniors, with a special emphasis on equity-deserving populations. Applications must address one of AGE-WELL’s Challenge Areas, and Successful projects will be co-funded by Alberta Innovates and AGE-WELL. The program also provides successful applicants with additional benefits, such as access to AGE-WELL’s Early Professionals, Inspired Careers (EPIC) program for project personnel.
