Alberta Innovates announced the Digital Innovation in Clean Energy (DICE) program.

Alberta Innovates announced $2.5 million in funding through the Digital Innovation in Clean Energy (DICE) program. Each project can receive up to $250,000 for an 18-month term, supporting digital technologies in clean energy.

Focus Areas: The program encourages proposals in AI, machine learning, blockchain, IoT, drones, virtual reality, and more. Emphasis is on de-risking technologies using data and creating value for developers and end users.

Important Dates: Applications due by February 1, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. MST. Successful projects notified by May 1, 2024. Projects must be completed by October 31, 2025.
