Are you a researcher, business, or innovator looking to collaborate with European partners and showcase your knowledge on the international stage?

Horizon Europe is the world’s largest multilateral research and innovation funding program.

In 2024, Canada associated to Pillar II of Horizon Europe, which funds collaborative research projects to tackle global challenges and increase industrial competitiveness.

Association allows all types of Canadian entities to work with international partners and to receive funding directly from Horizon Europe.

Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada (ISED) and the European Commission are hosting Horizon Europe information sessions across Western Canada:

These full-day sessions will cover the following topics:

  • An overview of Horizon Europe Pillars 1 & 2

  • Where to get help & how to get started?

  • An introduction to the administrative, legal & financial aspects of Horizon Europe projects

As space is limited, the ISED Horizon Europe Secretariat will review registrations to ensure that a broad array of Canadian stakeholders have an equal opportunity to access each session.
