Speaker Profile: Angus Gastle

I am a business and technology leader with over 15 years of technology, marketing and business transformation experience. I have been a leader in the construction and real estate(proptech) space for the last few years, with successful startups including cleanNow(acquired 2019) and Apicem. Prior to that, I spent four years at Makespace Group, one of the fastest-growing multi-disciplinary agencies in Alberta, as a Co-Founder and Managing Partner working on clients including ATB Financial, BMO Financial, 1M/Factory, SweetLegs, Alquinn Homes, and many more.

Prior to joining Makespace, I spent a decade in agencies working on national accounts including Bell Canada, P&G Laundry Care, Sobey’s, Blackberry, Silk and Home Depot. I am currently consulting with various clients in several sectors including: retail, technology, marketing/advertising, governance and business strategy. I have a track record of delivering improved business results, building stronger and scalable business and technology operations, and increasing the speed of value delivery.

I love solving problems and making things work better and I use technology and automation in every part of my life. I know how to build teams and clear the path for teams to do great things. I am a calm leader and get tremendous satisfaction from creating high performing teams. 5+ of my direct reports have become leaders themselves, whom I continue to mentor and support.

I’m a father of three, husband, traveler, avid reader, long-serving board member of Little Aspen Playschool, sports enthusiast, and I have a decent jump shot.
